This morning when I was walking into school, another student (here they call them schoolers) held the door open for me and I said “Thank you” instead of “Danke.” I quickly corrected myself and went “oh shoot Dankeschon, sorry.” He started laughing. #exchangestudentproblems #amibilingualyet?
