First Freiberg Rotary Club Meeting
Today I attended my first Rotary meeting here in my new home town of Freiberg. The meetings are held every Tuesday at a local restaurant called Brauhaus at 19:30pm. My host dad, Andreas, is a Rotarian apart of this club and last year, was the president of it! During the meeting we ate, drank campaign/ beer (most Rotarians, not me however), and listened to the presentation about a Banking Company. I also introduced myself in German, which was a bit rough, but I did it! I was able to chat with some of the other Rotarians there, one named Rudi Grimm who then invited me to on Saturday go to a handball tournament with him and his family. I also met another Rotarian, who worked in Indiana for a year about 15 minutes south of Indianapolis! What a small world!
