Belgium!
Here in Germany we are given a two week Autumn break. During this time I had the privilege of being able to do a lot of traveling. In the first week, I was in Belgium visiting a close friend of mine, Madeleine. She was an exchange student last year at Logansport High School and is the reason I decided to join the Rotary Youth Exchange Program. I was very excited to go visit her home country of Belgium, especially after last year when she constantly reminded me that it was, "the best country in the world." While in Belgium I was able to see two bigger cities, Brussels and Gent, as well as many smaller cities such as Libramont (Madeleine's home city)/ Louvain-la-Nueve (Madeleine's college town). The trip was very fun and it was nice catching up with Madeleine, getting to meet her family and friends, and getting to take in the beautiful country. I made sure to take lots and lots of photos and will insert them below! Enjoy!
